Hot Cross Bums has started off with the two pieces I live in the most: tees and joggers. I’ve always loved a baby tee because they are super flattering and cute, but you can still feel comfortable and confident in them. 

The joggers are the pair I pretty much live in at boarding school and at home. They are SO soft and comfortable to just lounge around in. I’ve tried to keep my products reasonably priced while still making sure the quality and feel are right.

As Hot Cross Bums grows, and I introduce a wider range of products, I’m looking to focus the brand more around sustainability, and I’ll be sharing all the details about this very soon…

About Me

Starting my own business has always been in the back of my mind, and it took me 18 years to realise the ‘perfect time’ was never going to appear, so I launched Hot Cross Bums in November 2025. I’ve recently turned 18 and am in Upper Sixth studying A-level Business, Politics and Geography, predicted A*A*A. I’ve always had a passion and drive for entrepreneurship, and I wanted to pursue it through something I genuinely love - fashion. Once my exams are done in June, I’m beyond excited to be able to put so much more time into Hot Cross Bums and see where it goes. 

Hot Cross Bums is shaped by the strong-minded, hardworking, and ambitious women in my life. This has made it my goal to create a community where women feel inspired and empowered to be independent and thrive way beyond what they think they are capable of. I think a lot about how different the world looked for women not long ago. 1975 wasn’t even a lifetime ago, and it was the first time women could open a bank account under their own name. We’re in a completely different place now, almost 50 years later, but it’s still far from perfect, and Hot Cross Bums is my way of pushing things a little further in the right direction.
